SETUP WIZARD

Connecting without guesswork

Pick a device or app. We'll show only the steps you need and which string to copy from the order.

WINDOWS 11

System settings

  1. Open Settings, then Network & Internet and Proxy.
  2. Turn on manual setup.
  3. Take the IP or domain and port from the order string.
  4. If the app asks for authentication, paste the login and password from the same string.
  5. Open an IP checker and make sure the region has changed.

The Windows system screen doesn't always support SOCKS5 and authentication. For such tasks use the settings inside the app.

MACOS

Network settings

  1. Open System Settings, Network and your active connection.
  2. Click Details, then Proxies.
  3. Turn on the HTTP web proxy or SOCKS.
  4. Enter the server, port, login and password from the order.
  5. Save the settings and check your external IP.

When you're done, turn off the proxy switch to return to your normal connection.

BROWSER

Separate profile

  1. Create a separate browser profile for each task.
  2. Open the proxy settings of the profile or the extension you use.
  3. Choose HTTP or SOCKS5 and paste the details of one physical IP.
  4. Don't mix HTTP of one IP with SOCKS5 of another.
  5. Check the IP and time zone before signing in to an account.

Chrome usually uses system settings. Firefox lets you set a proxy in its own network settings.

ANTIDETECT

Proxy inside the profile

  1. Create a new profile and open its proxy settings.
  2. Choose the protocol listed in the order.
  3. Enter the IP, port, login and password in separate fields.
  4. Use the built-in proxy check.
  5. Match the profile's language, time zone and geolocation to the IP's country.

Use a separate physical IP for each profile. Don't paste the full string into the IP field if the interface splits the details.

IOS AND ANDROID

Wi-Fi or an app

  1. Open the settings of your active Wi-Fi network.
  2. Find the HTTP proxy section and choose manual mode.
  3. Enter the server and port from the order.
  4. If the system supports authentication, add the login and password.
  5. For mobile data, use an app that supports proxies.

Phone system settings usually apply only to the selected Wi-Fi network.

CURL AND SCRAPERS

Full connection string

  1. Copy the ready HTTP or SOCKS5 string from the order.
  2. Pass it to the proxy parameter of your library.
  3. Set sensible timeouts and limit parallel requests.
  4. On error 407, check the login and password.
  5. On a timeout, run the port check in your account.
curl --proxy "http://login:password@host:port" https://example.com

Don't publish access strings in logs, repositories or support messages.
