PROXIES BY TASK
Proxies for Steam
Steam limits requests and logins per IP. Several accounts and trading bots each need their own address.
Datacenter IPv4 works well for bots and market monitoring: a stable address and high speed with no traffic cap.
For a main account with history, use a permanent ISP address and keep it, so Steam Guard does not trigger extra checks.
Which proxies to choose
Tips
- Respect market request limits.
- Do not switch an account between proxies in different countries.
- One IP per bot.
FAQ
Is traffic limited?
Datacenter IPv4 and ISP traffic is unlimited. Only residential packages are sold by traffic.
