Proxies for Instagram
Instagram links accounts by IP. If you run several profiles from one address, a ban on one often takes the others down too.
The main rule: one account, one permanent IP. Instagram is fine with logins from the same place and suspicious of an account that hops between countries every day.
Mobile proxies work best: thousands of ordinary users share a mobile carrier IP, so Instagram rarely blocks such addresses. Static ISP proxies are a cheaper good option: the address looks like home internet and never changes during the rental.
Datacenter IPv4 is fine for one or two accounts and for collecting public data, but riskier for running many accounts.
Which proxies to choose
Tips
- Give every account its own proxy and keep it.
- The proxy country should match the account history.
- In the anti-detect browser set the time zone and language of the proxy country.
- Do not warm up a dozen new accounts on one IP on the same day.
FAQ
How many accounts per proxy?
One is safest. On a rotating mobile proxy 2–3 warmed-up accounts are acceptable.
Will IPv6 work?
No, use IPv4, ISP or mobile proxies for Instagram.
